Diego Nuñez is a 2007 graduate from the University of Minnesota Law School. As a law student, he was a student attorney and student director for the law school's immigration clinic. Prior to attending law school, Diego worked for over four years as an accredited representative for the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota (ILCM) representing low-income individuals and families with immigration cases. During law school, Diego returned to work for the ILCM as a law clerk in the fall of 2005. He also clerked for the Immigration Practice at Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. in Minneapolis, Minnesota, working on employment-based matters, Immigration Court cases, and BIA appeals. Diego also has experience working in other immigration matters including: naturalization, permanent residence, family immigrant petitions, and asylum claims.
